| The Snow Valley Mountain Patrol is a group of about 90 Patrollers and Hosts, both paid and volunteer, all dedicated to snow sports safety and education. We train in first aid, mountain travel and rescue, patient transport and emergency lift evacuation. |
The paid staff are primarily EMS professionals or experienced patrollers with a passion for providing first aid and rescue services for snow sport enthusiasts. Our volunteer patrollers are all members of the National Ski Patrol. All patrollers train to the same high standard to ensure quality customer care.
Mountain Hosts
The Snow Valley Mountain Hosts provide essential services to both our visitors and our patrol team. These blue-jacketed representatives of the Snow Valley Mountain Patrol are often the first point of contact for our mountain visitors in our base area. Mountain Hosts also roam our mountain trails in search of guests needing assistance.
