Children's Learning Center - Snow Valley Mountain Resort

Dedicated to ages 4-12, Snow Valley's Children's Learning Center focuses on a traditional skiing and snowboarding experience by placing emphasis on the individual, with small class sizes and by paying close attention to developing and/or improving skills. Children will delight in the Snow Valley Forest with features to make learning fun, accessed by an easy-to-load conveyor lift dedicated to the Children's Learning Center.

Choose a full day program with lunch, or a half-day without lunch. Full day programs are available from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Half-day without lunch is available from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Rental equipment may be added to each program for just $10. Check-in begins a half hour prior to lesson times.

Private Lessons for ages 4 & up and Group Lessons for ages 13 & up are also offered in our Learning Center.

Adventurers is a fun learning program designed for children ages 4-6 who are ready to learn to ski or snowboard. Smaller groups tailored to the child's ability and more individual attention make our Adventurers program unique.

Please note: In order to ensure your child succeeds and fully enjoys his/her first winter resort experience, children 5 & under must take ski lessons first, before learning to snowboard in our Adventurers program. The Explorers program is designed for children ages 7-12 to enjoy maximum fun while learning! Classes are offered for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. First-timers start out on our easy-to-load conveyor lift. As their ability level increases, Explorers will learn the skills to be able to ski/ride the entire mountain.

NEW! Park Explorer Program - Ages 10 to 12

This program, made for the 10 to 12 year old that has
become an intermediate skier or snowboarder, offers the
opportunity to explore our beginning progression park
(Park Ave.) with a qualified instructor. This program is only
offered on Weekends and Holidays for the a.m. session.

In order to best accommodate your child, we recommend you arrive at least 1 hour prior to lesson times to have plenty of time to pick up your tickets and rentals and make it to your lesson on time. Lessons begin promptly at designated start time.

Please note: both programs include a full mountain access child lift ticket. Parents/guardians are encouraged to ski and/or snowboard with their children after the lesson, if time permits.
