We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated individuals 14 years of age and older to fill a variety of indoor and outdoor, part-time and full-time positions. We also have weekend only and night shifts.

Current Employment Opportunities

TERRAIN PARK SUPERVISOR
Supervise our Terrain Park, including staffing, training, creative design and maintenance. Must have prior Terrain Park and leadership experience with strong administrative and communication skills.

PATROL SUPERVISOR
Coordinate the dat-to-day operations of Mountain Patrol. Must have prior Patrol and leadership experience with strong administrative and communication skills.

SNOWMAKERS
Experienced and Entry-Level needed now, all training provided. If you like adventure and working outdoors, snowmaking offers an exciting and unique experience.

There are plenty of winter seasonal positions available and most jobs do not require any experience because all necessary training is provided. Ski and Snowboard instructors of all levels, including low intermediate without any teaching experience are needed to work with adults and/or children. Our snowmaking department offers an exciting and unique experience. Snowmakers typically work at night and are among the first employees to start working. If you like adventure and working outdoors, consider joining our dynamic snowmaking team. Most positions are entry-level with training provided and begin at minimum wage, depending on experience.

BAR

Position: Bartender
Position: Assistant – Accounts Receivable
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience as bartender. Has completed TIPS training.
Description: Prepares beverages to customer order. Follows guidelines of TIPS training and local law concerning service of alcoholic beverages.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE

Position: Maintenance Worker
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff. If driving company vehicle, DMV printout required.
Description: Restroom and janitorial duties/upkeep. Snow and ice removal from decks, walkways and stairs. Trash and litter pick-up from grounds and buildings. Small repairs. Traffic diversions.

Position: Custodial
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and physically able to maintain restrooms and trash receptacles that are located throughout the resort. Replenish inventory when needed.
Description: Cleans and maintains upkeep of restrooms and trash receptacles resort wide.

Position: Security
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and have prior experience handling crowds and recognizing potentially chaotic situations before they arise. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Maintains crowd control and enforces proper age and conduct within bar and surrounding areas. helps direct guests when clearing mountain for closure.

Position: Parking Attendant
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass an Integrity Test and Basic Math Skills Test. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Directs guests to parking areas and collects monies for parking fees. Security in parking lot and traffic diversions. May assist co-workers with maintenance responsibilities as needed. Snow and ice removal from decks, walkways and stairs. Trash and litter pick-up from grounds and buildings.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Position: Cook
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a Food Handler’s certificate. Previous experience as a cook in a fast-paced setting required. Knowledgeable in food storage, handling, preparation and presentation.
Description: Prepares food according to pre-designated menus and under the direction of the Food & Beverage Manager. Versatility a must. Demonstrates proficiency in handling food preparation for several hundred guests per day.

Position: Food Handler
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a Food Handler’s certificate. Ability to follow directions and demonstrate understanding of the importance of properly handling food; demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of food preparation for both storage and presentation. Will train. Have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Prepares food to be cooked, presented or stored. This includes both raw and cooked products, produce, bakery and dairy products. Participates in clean up of workspace & displays, and housekeeping of all prep areas. Fast-paced environment, serving hundreds of guests per day.

Position: Cashier
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a Food Handler’s certificate. Must pass an Integrity Test and Basic Math Skills test. Previous experience as a cashier is preferred, but will train. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Process cash and credit/debit cards as means of payment for food and food services. Ability to make proper change for both large and small currency. Fast-paced environment, serving hundreds of guests per day.

Position: Dishwasher/Bussing
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid work permit and Food Handler’s certificate. Will train. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Expediently clear and clean table and chairs, leaving free from food and dishes, prepared for the next guest. Prepare and place dishes in washer, remove and store when dry. Fast-paced environment, serving hundreds of guests per day.

LIFT OPERATIONS

Position: Lift Operator
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Operates ski lifts for guests and staff by using proper loading/unloading procedures as outlined in department manual. Requires maintenance of landings, including shoveling and maintaining logs.

Position: Ticket Checker
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 14 years of age and possess a valid work permit. Have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Checks the validity of guests and staff lift ticket and/or pass by scanning with electronic gun or by visually verifying the date and/or photo.

Position: Snow Play Attendant
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid work permit. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Works closely with guests in the snow play areas, which includes sledding and mini-snowmobiles.

Position: Dispatcher
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Performs routine checks with lift operators and records weather and safety conditions. Liaison between Mountain Patrol and emergency services. Various office work as needed.

MOUNTAIN PATROL

Position: Patroller
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a current CPR certification and must have a current EMT certification. Pass a ski/snowboard skills test (Base Aid Room Patroller exempt). Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Administers First Aid care to injured guests and employees and transports injured parties to Base Area aid room as needed.

TERRAIN PARK

Position: Attendant

Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age and pass a ski/snowboard skills test.
Description: Performs constant care and maintenance of jumps and jibs and enforces safety regulations by keeping riders from using features that are considered unsafe.

Position: Phone Greeter
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess basic office and organizational skills.
Description: Comfortable handling incoming phone calls/transfers. Must be able to become quickly knowledgeable in relaying current prices and promotions to callers, as well as directions, and basic resort information.

RENTALS

Position: Rental Technician
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must pass certification for issuing skis. Minimum age is 18. Must be good with the public. Training provided.
Description: Selects and issues proper boots, poles, helmets, skis and snowboards to guests based on their needs. Assists in completing Rental forms properly. Maintains Rental Shop appearance and proper storage of equipment.

Position: Repair Technician
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must obtain ski-binding certification. Minimum age is 18. Must be good with the public. Training provided.
Description: Maintains the fleet of rental equipment, including administering regular torque testing of ski bindings. Provides the service of repair and maintenance to guests and employees’ equipment.

Position: Boot Fitter
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit. Must be good with the public. Training provided.
Description: Selects and issues proper boots and poles to guests based on their needs, as well as helping guests in properly fitting their boots. Assists in completing Rental forms properly. Maintains Rental Shop appearance and proper storage of equipment. Ticket Checking rotation.

LEARNING CENTERS

Position: Instructor – Adults
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a ski/board skills test.
Description: Instructs and communicates to guests on Snow Valley’s Teaching Progression Programs, in a group and/or one-on-one setting.

Position: Instructor – Children
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a third party background screening and a ski/board skills test. Must enjoy working with children.
Description: Instructs and communicates to guests on Snow Valley’s Teaching Progression Programs, in a group and/or one-on-one setting.

Position: Instructor – Freestyle
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a ski/board skills test.
Description: Instructs and communicates to guests on Snow Valley’s Teaching Progression Programs, in a group and/or one-on-one setting.

Position: Cadet
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be between 14-17 years of age with a valid work permit and pass a ski/snowboard skills test. Must enjoy working with children.
Description: Assists ski and snowboard Instructors in the Children’s Learning Center.

SNOW SURFACES

Position: Groomer
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and have prior experience operating a snow cat. Must provide a clean DMV printout, participate in the DMV Pull Program and pass a drug and alcohol screening prior to employment.
Description: Farms all snow, using it to build/rebuild ski runs, terrain park features and creating an exceptional snow surface experience by creating high quality ski conditions. Keeps buildings and lift terminals free from snow.

SPORTS SHOP

Position: Cashier
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and pass an Integrity Test and Basic Math Skills test. Previous experience as a cashier in preferred, but will train. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Process cash and credit/debit cards as means of payment for merchandise an/or services. Ability to make proper change for both large and small currency. Fast-paced environment, serving hundreds of guests per day.

TICKETS

Position: Ticket Sales
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and have prior experience in cash handling. Must be able to pass an Integrity Test and Basic Math Skills Test. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Provides on-site sales of resort tickets and gives information about the Resort to guests. Must be able to become quickly knowledgeable in pricing and packages and comfortable with up-selling to meet customer’s needs.

Position: Guest Services
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and have prior experience in cash handling. Must be able to pass an Integrity Test and Basic Math Skills Test. Must have the ability to appropriately interact with the public, guests and staff.
Description: Provides primary level of guest assistance during their visit to Snow Valley. Acts as a liaison between company and guest, which may include both compliments and complaints. Processes ID’s for season pass holders, staff and dependents. Attempts to resolve most issues guests may experience. Ensures our guests are satisfied with the resolution.

Position: Group Sales
Class: Seasonal/Winter
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess basic office and organizational skills. Comfortable with calling potential guests and selling ski programs. Must be able to become quickly knowledgeable in relaying current prices and promotions to callers, as well as directions, and basic resort information.
Description: Sells group packages to new and returning guests. Assists groups upon arrival to resort to help expedite tickets, rentals and meals.
